I wanted to say thanks to all those who currently serve our military and especially to those who have served and lost their lives. They signed on to protect our country, and all of us, knowing all of the dangers it held. Although we all have an opinion about war and the military; the reality is, we would not be able to express those opinions if it weren't for those who fought to give us that right.
Many of my family members have served in the military and my sister-in-law is still active Navy. They signed on because they believe in what this country stands for and want to serve in whatever capacity they can.
Next time you are out and see someone in uniform, walk over an tell them Thank You. They deserve much more, but at least we can offer them thanks.
