The Green One

This shirt was in the stuff that I sent my nephew for Christmas.  Apparently it has become his favorite shirt.  My brother says they literally have to sneak the shirt away from him to even put it in the wash.  When he isn't wearing the shirt he is carrying it around as a woobie like Linus from Charlie Brown.  One day my brother sent me a text saying Seth was running around screaming 'the green one" and trying to put it on over his other shirt.  They had to dig it out of the dirty clothes and give it to him.

Leapster Explorer

I texted my brother and asked him to give me some ideas for Christmas gifts for the boys. I am tired of just buying them clothes, although as fast as they grow they can always use clothes. Since little Maddox is only 6 months old, it will be clothes and soft toys he can play with on the floor. For Seth, my brother suggested the Leapster Explorer or any kind of balls. I always send him balls, so a Leapster Explorer it is. One nephew done!

Scarecrow and Dracula

Here are my little nephews in their costumes. The top picture is 6 month old Maddox and the bottom picture is almost 2 year old Seth. If you look closely, you can see Dracula's mohawk and the scarecrows two bottom teeth.

Home for the Holidays

My brother called and they are planning to come home for Thanksgiving (or around that time). Maybe they will come stay with us while they are here. I can't wait to see my handsome little nephew. I can't believe he is already 8 months old. Here is the latest picture I have of him. He likes playing with his mothers stethoscope.

6 Months Old

I can't believe my nephew is already 6 months old. Here he is eating his first piece of celery and this past weekend he cut his first tooth. They are supposed to be visiting during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday this year. I can't wait to see him in person for the first time.

Baby Shoes

There is a pair of the cutest little shoes that I am dying to buy for my nephew, but his feet are still too small. He is an infant size 2 and the smallest size they come in is a toddler size 4. First off, I have not idea what the difference is between an infant size 2 and a toddler size 4, so maybe some of you mothers out there can educate me. Also, how fast does a babies feet grow?

Today since I couldn't buy him the shoes, I bought him three outfits instead. One is definitely too big, but too cute to pass up.
